Shift Delta is operated by Luca Jones (“we”, “us” or “our”). Luca Jones is the data controller for personal data processed through Shift Delta. You can contact us at contact@shiftdelta.co.uk.
What we collect
We collect the information needed to provide Shift Delta, including your username, email address, password (stored as a secure hash), account dates, shift-change records, notification preferences and web-push subscription details if you enable notifications.
When you send feedback, we collect the category and message you provide, together with your account, the date and time, app version, commit identifier, device category and browser information. We also use essential local browser storage and IndexedDB so that the app can work offline and synchronise your changes when you reconnect.
Why we use your information
We use your information to provide and secure your account, save and synchronise your shift records, send account and password-reset emails, deliver notifications you choose to enable, respond to feedback, and maintain and improve the service. Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Shift Delta, and consent where you choose to enable optional notifications.
Who receives your information
We use service providers that host the application and database, deliver email, and provide web-push infrastructure. They process information only as needed to provide those services. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and shift data while your account is active. Deleting your account removes your account, shift records, feedback, push subscriptions and related application data from our active systems. Some limited information may remain temporarily in secure backups until those backups are rotated.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a portable copy of your personal data, and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us using the email above. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Security
We use measures intended to protect data, including encrypted connections, authentication controls and restricted access. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Age requirement
Shift Delta is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the service or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be available on this page.
